This new iPhone App is designed for fans of the McDonald's Free WiFi initiative that is being rolled out throughout 710 of their restaurants across Australia. With a WiFi enabled device such as the iPhone 3G or iPod Touch, McDonald's customers can now enjoy Free Wireless Broadband Internet Access whilst sipping on a coffee from McCafe or a quick snack from the latest Macca's menu.

Now with the Macca's FreeWiFi iPhone App you can quickly locate your nearest store & be on the Net in a flash. Download that latest presentation for a meeting, VPN back to the office, check your email or just jump on Facebook - your closest McDonald's is never too far away!

Great for road warriors travelling throughout Australia or those that just want to have the location of their closest Macca's at their finger tips.

Until the roll-out of Free WiFi wraps up mid March 2009 there will be weekly updates available through the iTunes App Store on the latest store information and where you can access the Free WiFi hotspots.

^* Current Location Lookup will produce the most accurate results on the iPhone 3G with built-in GPS capabilities. However, it will still function well on the iPod Touch or original iPhone if you have a connection to a WiFi or phone network.
